Sacramento-area Dutch Bros. Coffee locations and community members banded together to raise $8,580 on Friday, Dec. 6, for the annual Buck for Kids Day.

To raise funds, all eight locations donated $1 from every drink sold to the cause. Davis and Woodland locations, owned by Sean and Lynsey Provost, donated to the Calvary Youth Project. The Davis kiosk is at 980 Olive Drive and the Woodland one is at 1332 E. Main St.

Last year’s Buck for Kids Day raised $3,631 locally and $139,000 for children’s causes companywide. This annual event includes 213 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in seven states.

Companywide, Dutch Bros. Coffee donates more than $1 million every year to nonprofit organizations and causes in an effort to achieve its goal of “making a difference, one cup at a time.”
