Valentine’s Day is Dutch Luv Day, when local Dutch Bros. Coffee locations will offer customers a free medium drink in exchange for a contribution of five canned food items to help local food banks fight hunger. Local customers can visit Dutch Bros. at 980 W. Olive Drive in Davis (open 24 hours), 1332 E. Main St. in Woodland (open 24 hours) and 7 Main St. in Woodland (open from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.).

Food donors will receive a free 16-ounce drink, include specialty coffee drinks, smoothies, freezes and flavor-infused, private-label energy drinks.

The annual Dutch Luv Day effort takes place at all 195 Dutch Bros. Coffee locations in 94 cities in seven states. In 2012, Dutch Luv Day collected more than 100,000 pounds of canned food to feed the hungry.
