First Northern promotes Faye
First Northern Bank has announced the promotion of Hans Peter Faye IV to senior vice president/agribusiness lending manager, in recognition of the bank’s growing agribusiness loan portfolio and increasing importance of the agribusiness industry throughout the markets served by First Northern.
A fourth-generation Californian whose family is still involved in agriculture, Faye has more than 22 years of business lending and management experience, nine years of it at First Northern.
He earned both a bachelor’s degree in commerce and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School, which is affiliated with the Graduate School of Management at the University of Washington.
Active in the community, Faye is aboard member and past president of the Woodland Memorial Hospital Foundation; member and founding director of the Woodland Sunrise Rotary Club; former Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 131; and past president of Woodland United Way. He is a member of Rancheros Visitadores and a former member of the board of Kikiaola Land Company in Kauai, Hawaii. Faye and his wife live in Davis. He has a daughter and son attending college. In his spare time, Faye enjoys skiing, horseback riding and traveling.
