Games to stop at University Mall

By October 25, 2011

The GameStop store in University Mall in Davis will close on Friday, Nov. 14, a news release announced today.

“Customers can still make purchases and trade in games, accessories and consoles at … other GameStop stores in the area,” according to Larine Nixon, who handles corporate communications for GameStop Corp.

The GameStop store in The Marketplace, at 1361 W. Covell Blvd., will remain open. University Mall is on Russell Boulevard, between Anderson Road and Sycamore Lane.

After the closure, customers who still have pre-orders from the University Mall store would be able to pick up their items at the Marketplace store. Customer records will transfer on Nov. 13.
