Gilwee named Lyon’s marketing director

​Pettit Gilwee of Sacramento has been named the director of marketing at Lyon Real Estate.

She is a senior-level business leader and strategist with 17 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors, specializing in planning, directing and evaluating public information programs, consumer marketing projects and corporate communications campaigns.

Gilwee will serve as part of Lyon Real Estate’s leadership team and will be responsible for the company’s brand management, digital communications, advertising, public relations, special events and social media efforts, as well as niche campaigns and programs.

Prior to her position at Lyon Real Estate, Gilwee owned and operated a marketing and public relations firm for more than a decade, serving a wide variety of regional and global clients, such as Chase International, the North Lake Tahoe Visitors Bureaus, Visit California, the Truckee Donner Public Utility District and the Tahoe Rim Trail Association.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from UC Davis and a master’s degree in public relations from the University of Denver. She has been recognized by the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators for her work.
