Home & Garden Show moves to Vacaville

The Vacaville Total Home & Garden Show will host a triple ribbon cutting/grand opening event with the Dixon, Fairfield-Suisun and Vacaville Chambers of Commerce and a live coffee-break with 95.3 KUIC radio station at 10 a.m. Friday, April 15.

The April 15 event is set to coincide with the kick-off of the Total Home & Garden Show, at 50 Nut Tree Road behind the Nut Tree Complex next to Lowe’ s home improvement store. The show runs from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. In previous years, the show took place in Woodland.

On Saturday and Sunday, HGTV Celebrities Jake Moss and Ian McCartt will host live demonstrations along with Jake Gandolfo, a finalist from the Gordon Ramsay’s hit series “Master Chef.” There is an interactive booth called “Kids Growing Strong” where children and their families can learn about growing food and make healthy food choices. The BloodSource bloodmobiles also will be on site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 17.
