Jack’s Urban Eats on its way

By October 25, 2011

From Jonathan Edwards’ Enterprise story on Sunday, Oct. 23, comes news of Jack’s Urban Eats coming to town:

“More servings of Sacramento flavor are on the way. Jack’s Urban Eats, a cafeteria-style restaurant that opened its flagship midtown location in 1998, plans to open a Davis location as part of a regional chain that includes restaurants in Roseville, Folsom and Natomas.

“ ‘There’s more to come,’ said Mark Cordano, a commercial real estate agent who brokered the deals that brought Bistro 33, de Vere’s and Tres Hermanas to Davis. ‘There’s a couple more people who are going to follow (over to Davis).’

“Who else beside Jack’s? Cordano said he’s playing his other cards close to the vest, but for those who are in a position to grow, Davis is a good option.

“ ‘Davis has been good to restaurants. There’s good volume going on there right now,’ Cordano said.”
