Job fair set Tuesday in Sacramento

Jobseekers will have the chance to connect with regional employers at Sacramento’s 20th annual Fall HIREvent from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, 5321 Date Ave., Sacramento.  Admission is free.

Companies are eager to hire and are recruiting to fill vacancies in a wide variety of fields, from entry-level through management, a news release said.

The fair will include representatives from the California State Auditor, Verizon Wireless, Colusa County, Mass Mutual, National Federation of Independent Business, CalTrans, Prudential Insurance, Sacramento Works, Bryan College, AFLAC, Valley Yellow Pages, Salem Communications, State Job Workshops, International Academy of Design and Technology, Telemundo 33, Farmers Insurance, Clear Channel, U.S. Army and more.

The event is sponsored by KTXL Fox40, Telemundo 33, Clear Channel and Job Journal.
