The U.S. Small Business Administration will host a Small Business Resource Summit from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at the Citrus Heights Community Center, 6300 Fountain Square Drive, Citrus Heights. Admission is free, but seating is limited so registration is encouraged.
The first session will cover elements of starting a business in today’s economy, what you should know about business taxes and how businesses are getting funding in today’s economy.
David Gallo, of the Center for Economic Development at CSU Chico, will give a keynote address titled “The Road Ahead: Economic Forecast for Greater Sacramento” at 10 a.m.
The second session will address 10 key indicators for business development, how to increase sales with import/export and how to sell products or services to government.
At a networking session, more than 40 resource partners will offer information about programs and services to assist businesses.
