In late summer, a Sept. 14 workshop will teach participants how to use social media to build relationships with customers. This three-hour session will cover the basics of setting up a Facebook account, how Twitter can create a positive buzz about your business and how LinkedIn fosters professional alliances.

Earlier, on July 7, the SBDC will host the “Small Business Administration’s 8 (a) Business Development Program,” presented by the Federal Technology Center. This free session, from 9 a.m. to noon, will cover the basics for prime contractors who are managing subcontracts; basics for subcontractors who are working with primes or managing other subcontractors.
