Tri Tip Grill to open at Grand Central Station

By April 8, 2011

The Buckhorn-inspired franchise, Tri Tip Grill, recently got word that it was successful in its bid to secure a spot in Grand Central Station (Metro Transit Authority) in New York City. Located on Park Avenue, the business is expected to open later this year.

Buckhorn owners John Pickerel and Melanie Bajakian sold their first franchise, Tri Tip Grill, last spring. Pickerel traveled to New York City to introduce tri tip sandwiches to representatives of the Metro Transit Authority before the franchise could be approved.

The franchise owner is David Kassling, who has plans to open more Tri Tip Grill franchises in the future.
