Wells Fargo supports local nonprofits

Wells Fargo Bank invested a record $495,000 in 20 nonprofits in Yolo County in 2013, bank officials announced last week. Among them are UC Davis, the Yolo Food Bank, the American Farmland Trust and the California 4-H Foundation.

In addition, local Wells Fargo team members contributed more than 150 volunteer hours to help their neighborhoods and communities succeed. The bank has branches at 340 F St. in Davis and at 444 Court St. in Woodland.

Nationally, Wells Fargo invested $275.5 million in 18,500 nonprofits in 2013, marking the fifth consecutive year of more than $200 million in total annual corporate giving. In addition, Wells Fargo team members contributed more than $89 million and 1.69 million volunteer hours to 25,000 nonprofits and schools.
