Jeff Huckins, president of Woodland Tractor & Equipment Company, has received the Presidents Award from the Far West Equipment Dealers Association. It was presented at the group’s 66th annual convention in Phoenix.

The award is given to an individual who is recognized by his or her peers as a respected leader in the industry or related fields and has made significant contributions to the industry.

Huckins has helped secure a partial sales tax exemption for California farmers and has been involved in workers’ compensation reform, dealer and manufacturer relations and educational initiatives. He is a past president of the Far West Equipment Dealers Association.

The association represents more than 500 dealers of agricultural, rental, outdoor power and industrial equipment in seven Western states.

Woodland Tractor & Equipment Company has been in business since 1953, representing the Kubota, New Holland, Great Plains, Bush Hog and Rhino product lines with sales, rentals, parts and service.
