Kevin M. Young, of Young Wealth Management with offices in Davis and Sacramento, recently became a certified financial planner.
This certification illustrates his dedication to using the financial planning process to serve the financial needs of individuals, families and businesses.
To earn this prestigious certification and remain certified, individuals must pass the CFP board’s comprehensive two-day exam; acquire three to five years of financial planning-related experience; voluntarily ascribe to the CFP board’s code of ethics; and complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years.
Young has an MBA and is an enrolled agent, a federally authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.
He is the principal of Young Wealth Management, which offers Fee-Only comprehensive financial planning. This means it’s one of the few firms that does not sell financial products such as insurance and investments. The firm is only compensated by its clients and never compensated by commissions or referral fees.
Young is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors as well as the California Society of Enrolled Agents. Young can be reached at (530) 231-5152 or [email protected]
