Zindagi open; Luigi’s to debut Sunday with free slices

By January 20, 2012

Zindagi Indian Bistro opened Wednesday at 213 E St., Suite C.

The space formerly housed Queen of Sheeba and Pita Pit before that.

Next door, Luigi’s, also at 213 E St., will open Sunday, giving out free pizza slices from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., owner Linda Brida said today. Brida owns the business with her husband, Greg. Luigi’s is in the former Discoveries gift store space, most recently the used furniture store Blue Elephant.

The restaurant will feature pizzas by the pie or the slice, as well as salads, a pasta bar, and traditional Italian dishes like lasagna.

Downstairs, there is additional seating, a stage, and sound equipment for its all-ages music space called the Fungarden.
