With so many activities packed into the city of Davis’ Fourth of July celebration, residents will look forward to sitting back and watching the fireworks Wednesday evening.
“This is going to be a very exciting year,” said Carrie Dyer, a city of Davis community services supervisor. “The city is working with the Davis Live Music Collective to arrange a great lineup of music and entertainment, including a 90-minute set by Dave Alvin and the Guilty Ones, who will kick-start the fireworks show by singing his famous ‘Fourth of July’ song.
“I always look forward to seeing the Davis community come together in celebration,” she added.
