Muralists Sofia Lacin and Hennessy Christophel work on a massive municipal water tank and transform it into a vibrant, inviting piece of art.
The pair, business partners and friends since high school, won a $75,000 city grant last fall to make pretty a new 4 million-gallon water tank in East Davis. About 80 percent of their budget will cover the cost of materials, including three large metal sculptures.

“ ‘Discovery’ was our most key word,” Christophel said, and Lacin agreed. “We thought for months about ‘discovery.’ “

“Real Steel” 3.5 stars Starring: Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo, Evangeline Lilly, Anthony Mackie, Kevin Durand, Hope Davis, James Rebhorn Rating: PG-13 for intense action, brief violence and fleeting profanity Well, color me surprised.
