Forever 21 officials are looking toward an April opening, according to Katherine Hess, city community development administrator. Building improvements are still under way in University Mall on Russell Boulevard. The trendy, inexpensive women’s clothing store will fill 38,418 square feet, encompassing the former Gottschalks site as well as the lobby outside Starbucks.

Creamery moving to Yogurt Shack spot

Davis Creamery, also home to Cupcake Craving and Cookie Connection, is moving from South Davis to downtown, effective in May.
