Robert and Katherine (Harriman) Elliott of Davis celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 19, 2013.

The couple had a celebration at Stonegate Country Club in Davis on April 13 with their children and friends and family.

The party was held the week before the anniversary so Bob and Kathie could attend the opening night of “Peter Pan” at the Woodland Opera House, a show that they enjoy greatly. The couple renewed their vows at the anniversary party. In their invitation, they asked that donations be given to Yolo Crisis Nursery in lieu of gifts. They feel very blessed and want to help provide a stable family environment to those at risk.

The couple say their strong and loving family is the best thing that has come from their marriage. They have four children: Lois Coady of Roseville, Nancy Agee of Davis, Fred Elliott of Fremont and Mary Nauer of Woodland. The Elliotts also have 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
