"Isn't it just as likely when we elect someone for the new District 8, it will be John Munn?" No. The Assembly race pitting Yamada against Munn is in a new 4th District. Like most of California, it favors the Democrats. There are 1.7 Dems to every 1 Republican. However, the new 4th has 22.1% "decline to state." So for Munn to win, the Dems have to not show up, the Republicans have to vote in big numbers and the non-partisans have to overwhelmingly favor Munn. If enough voters know that Mariko Yamada is corrupt and bad for cities like Davis and worse for counties like Yolo, Munn stands a chance. It depends on how well informed the voters are about how bad Yamada is.

Isn’t Yamada Assembly member for District 4? Isn’t it just as likely when we elect someone for the new District 8, it will be John Munn? Anyroad, happy 100th birthday to Mr. Caseli.
Did anyone ask Mr. Caseli who he supports? With 100 years of insight, I think he might vote for John Munn.
