Teens age 13 through 18 or entering junior high and/or high school by fall 2012 are invited to participate in this summer’s teen library program. Just for signing up and taking a short survey, participants are eligible for raffle prizes such as the grand prize: an Android Touch Screen Tablet.
Teens can register at their Yolo County Library branch any time between June 1 and August 11. Every two weeks, starting Friday, participants can pick up a set of instructions and claim a small prize. When participants complete and turn in one or both options on that session’s sheet of instructions, each completed and returned option will act as another raffle ticket into the library’s end-of-summer grand prize raffle.
If participants would like even more chances to win, they can submit book review and rating forms. Teens can read and review as many teen-appropriate books as they want during this summer’s program from Friday to August 11. Each book review and rating form they turn in to the branch library’s information desk will act as another entry for the raffle drawing; so the more they reviews they turn in, the better their chances of winning prizes.
Teens also can check the library calendar for other fun events this summer, including a bleach T-shirt workshop and a dream interpretation program. For more information, visit the Stephens Branch Library at 315 E 14th St. or contact the library at (530) 757-5593 or [email protected]
