From page A8 | March 12, 2013 |

Registration begins at noon Wednesday for summer youth programs offered by UC Davis Campus Recreation and Unions. A diverse range of camps, classes, trips and swimming lessons for youths up to age 18 are offered.

Along with the new general recreation camp, Aggie Day Camp, Youth Programs offers sports camps like flag football and inner tube water polo. Participants looking to learn a new activity or skill may be interested in theme-based cooking camps, two-week dance intensive camps, education enrichment camps and various craft camps.

To sign up, visit the Campus Recreation and Unions website at cru.ucdavis.edu/campregistration.

Not ready for summer yet? Boredom Busters will be offered during spring break, April 1-5. Children ages 8-12 will engage in fun and exciting ways to learn outside the classroom. Registration is open until March 29.

Youth Programs’ staff members receive child-specific program training, including child development, behavior management, program planning and risk management. All staff are certified in CPR and first aid and go through a thorough background check prior to hiring.

For more information, call 530-754-4304 or email youthprograms@campusrec.ucdavis.edu.
