Evan Purtill and Caroline Caton, both of Sacramento, were married on April 21, 2013, at Vizcaya Pavilion in Sacramento.

The groom is the son of Mark and Clare Purtill. He went to Davis High and currently co-owns the Davis-based TYR Construction, specializing in kitchen and bath remodels.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Nancy Caton. She received a bachelor’s degree from Sacramento State and is an associate financial representative at Northwestern Mutual.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Ed Donaghy. The ceremony was intimate with 15 guests including parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces and nephew. It was held outside in a garden setting. A luncheon reception followed inside the pavilion.

The following week, the bride and groom honeymooned in Kauai. They reside in Sacramento.
