Whitney Reed and Bryan Ireland, both of San Diego, were married on Oct. 22, 2010, at the beach in Mission Bay, San Diego.

The bride is the daughter of Dave Reed and Sheryl Cambron, both of Davis.

She is a 2003 graduate of Davis High School. She graduated from San Diego State University in 2007.

She is employed as an archaeologist and emergency medical technician. She’s also attending Palomar College for paramedic training.

The groom is the son of Ric and Sherrie Ireland of Oxnard.

He graduated from El Capitan High School in Lakeside. He went to San Diego Flight Training International and graduated from Airline Transportation Professionals in Phoenix in 2003.

He is employed as an airline pilot with Sky West.

The wedding was officiated by the bride’s father.

The maid of honor was the bride’s childhood friend, English Huston, of Davis. The bridesmaids were the bride’s childhood friend Catie Couper of Falls Church, Va., and the bride’s friends Heidi Kaiser and Megan Papp, both of San Diego.

The best man was Andy Peltz of San Diego. The groomsmen were the groom’s friends Chris Hedge, Jess Swiggers and Matt Erbstoesser, all of San Diego.

The ushers were the bride’s brothers, Dylan and Connor Reed.

The reception was held at ZLAK Rowing Club, Pacific Beach, in San Diego.

The couple honeymooned in Tahiti.
