Enjoy a ‘Moonlight Cabaret’ at Senior Center

By May 3, 2011

Senior Citizens of Davis and the Davis Dance Club will present their inaugural event together, a “Moonlight Cabaret,” from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Davis Senior Center, 646 A St.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. for a night of dancing and entertainment. Refreshments, appetizers and door prizes will be provided by SCD. There will be a cash bar with sodas, beer, wine and selected mixed drinks.

“We have a DJ music list of favorites that you’ve known for years,” organizers said. “The selections of ’40s, ’50s and ’60s tunes will keep you entertained and dancing the night away.”

The dress code for the event is nice casual (no jeans or T-shirts). Attendees must be 21 years or older.

Seating is limited, and tickets are on sale now at the front desk of the Senior Center. Advance tickets are $10 for SCD members and $15 for non-members; all tickets are $15 at the door.
