Engagement: Snyder-Oerman

Joseph Hibbert Snyder of Davis and Stephanie Oerman of Hollister are engaged to be married on Aug. 2, 2014.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of James Oerman and Delores Azevedo. She graduated from Sonoma State with a bachelor’s in English and works for Coldwell Banker Doug Arnold.

The groom-to-be is a third generation Davisite. He is the son of Thomas and Molly Snyder. His grandparents, Jack and Carol Hibbert, also of Davis, founded Hibbert Lumber Company in 1947. Snyder graduated from San Francisco State with a bachelor’s in Industrial Design and works for PG&E.

The wedding will be officiated by Michael Stankey, friend of the couple, at Taber Ranch in Capay Valley.

Snyder’s cousin, Conor Hadley of Davis, will serve as the best man. Valerie Cirinelli, a friend of the bride, will be the matron of honor.

The couple will honeymoon in Mazatlan, Mexico in October.
