YOLO COUNTY NEWS
99 CENTS

A great celebration

By
From page A11 | March 10, 2013 |

The planners of the Celebration of Abraham thank the Yolo community for making the 10th annual Celebration of Abraham the best ever! The enthusiastic participation was all we had hoped for and we will be following up on all evaluations to ensure that the celebration next year will be just as good.
We also want to thank the city of Davis and Yolo County for their proclamations recognizing the interfaith community that comprises the Celebration of Abraham. We were also happy to have some of the interfaith groups in the county participate by setting up table presentations.
Finally, this year’s social justice project was raising money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The community generously donated $639 to the American Red Cross for this work.
