A school and weapons depot in one

Hamza El-Nakhal deplores “the loss of life, especially the innocent children …”

Apparently, Hamas and Islamic Jihad have no problem with such losses.

Weapons were found inside a United Nations Relief and Works Agency school in Gaza on July 29, the third time weapons have been found on “inviolable” U.N. school property.

Israel has charged Gaza-based terrorists with hiding weapons in UNRWA facilities in Gaza. The agency has consistently denied this, and its spokesman did not name those responsible for putting weapons in schools.

The mind reels at this denial. UNWRA does not have to name the specific individuals involved. Gazans did this. Everyone knows it was not Tinkerbell.

What was shelled was a munitions storage location chosen by Hamas for its propaganda value. Hamas is solely responsible for the choice to place civilian lives at risk. Apparently, this in no way poses a moral dilemma for Hamas, the elected government of Palestinians in Gaza.
