A yes vote, in the real world

By From page A6 | February 13, 2013

I have read every letter in these pages on the subject of Measure I.

People have laid out the benefits of the Davis-Woodland project better than I can and not pulled any punches about the rate increases to come whether the project gets built or not.

The folks against Measure I appear to be in denial that we are currently mining our water, while we pride ourselves as a community about being sustainable.

I am not excited about paying more for water, but who wants to pay more for anything? We live in the real world, not a fantasy place where wishing can make it so.

Vote a resounding yes on Measure I.
