Despite the great sadness in my heart due to the loss of lives of many young people in the Arabic world, the Nobel Peace Prize that was awarded to one of the Arabic strugglers during this crucial time in the Arab Spring brought a tear to my eye from happiness.
This brave struggler is Tawakkul Karman, a Yemeni campaigner who was awarded the Nobel Prize for her nonviolent struggle for women’s rights and for full participation in peace-building work.
In spite of the ample troubles that Karman has faced in Yemen, she is still campaigning peacefully to liberate her country, which has been invaded by the gang of Abdullah Saleh for many years.
In my view, this prize has been given to all the freedom fighters who sacrifice their lives to build a bright future for the world.
