Casualties of the class war

By April 15, 2011

The Republicans had no real intention of destroying Planned Parenthood. They know that the result would be more abortions than ever. They were willing to risk that result because they do not even genuinely care about the abortion issue. It is merely a useful wedge issue to help them gain political power.

Actually, they held the knife to the throat of Planned Parenthood in order to strike yet another decisive blow in the class war started by Reagan that pits the extremely rich against everyone else.

This is a real war that is being won handily by the rich side. Like Gadhafi’s forces, they are well-organized and well-armed, have no scruples, and have been striking blows against the middle class for decades, while the opposition is a loosely organized, poorly armed band of disparate groups. They are constantly betrayed by turncoats in their midst, who are actually held captive by corporate interests.

The battles have been a debacle, and the middle class is being brutally slaughtered.

What is needed here is a “no-fly zone” in America’s class war to stop the brutal carnage of the middle class. NATO, anyone?
