Celebrate Davis! a team effort

On behalf of the Davis Chamber of Commerce, I would like to acknowledge and thank those individuals who made the 11th annual Celebrate Davis! a success. This event is the Chamber’s largest annual event with many working parts, seen and unseen. Firstly, thank you to the Celebrate Davis Committee, composed of Chamber board members and ambassadors, for committing additional volunteer hours for multiple months prior to the event, overseeing the planning and coordination of multiple event elements.

The committee works tirelessly to recruit all necessary volunteers needed, from set-up to tear-down. Thank you to the multiple volunteer groups and individuals who committed their time despite the warm weather.

Celebrate Davis! is a unique event connecting the Davis Chamber of Commerce member base to the community during an evening of family fun, capped off with a dazzling fireworks display sponsored by Woodland Healthcare’s Davis Medical Offices.

The event would not be feasible without support from A Grand Affair, All Star Rents, Pyro Engineering, Waste Busters and the city of Davis. It is because of the commitment of these volunteers, individuals and businesses that the Chamber is able to continue to serve the needs of the Davis business community. Mark your calendars for the 12th annual Celebrate Davis on Thursday, May 21, 2015. We hope to see you there!

Alison Rodegerdts

Davis Chamber of Commerce director of membership
