Church gets kudos for sale
We’d like to thank the Pole Line Road Baptist Church for the annual community yard sale it hosted on Saturday, Sept. 28. Like anyone who wished to sell, we reserved a space. The church provided a fantastic site and with all its publicity and advertising, the sale attracted lots of customers.
As soon as we checked in, volunteers helped unload and set up our tables. Next, they directed us to the complimentary snacks, water and coffee. Throughout the day they passed by and delivered water as we worked our table.
We sold nearly everything we set out. Everyone we dealt with was so pleasant and helpful; we wish we could thank them all by name.
Thank you so much, Pole Line Road Baptist Church, for this wonderful service you provided. We will be looking forward to your sale next year and will participate as buyers, if not sellers.
