Council has wrong priorities

So, the city can spend $1 million to consider private utilities, but still wants to raise sales tax and put a parcel tax on us also to balance the budget? Shouldn’t the council be spending what little money we have on our current situation instead of creating new ones and then taxing us more?

Once we get the city’s coffers in order, then we can focus on the “wouldn’t it be nice” items. It seems this City Council is just as bad as prioritizing things as most past councils.
