Cut through distortions on 37

By
From page A6 | October 26, 2012 |

I might support genetic engineering (not in our food) if we could re-engineer people so that their noses would grow longer as a result of not telling the truth.

Truthfulness would have been very helpful in the debate over Proposition 37, our right to know when our food contains genetically engineered food items. The opposition forces have found it very convenient to spread their toxic misinformation throughout our media, thus confusing the actual issues involved.

I ask you to cut through the distortions and find your way to voting yes on Proposition 37. It is our right to be fully informed with regard to our food. This includes whether the food we are eating is genetically engineered. Nothing could be more important to our well-being, our health, our serenity.
