Randy may be good at listening but not at reading. The arguments he says he has heard against Measure A are lame and easily discounted. But he doesn't mention ANY of the more cogent arguments against A that have been printed and posted in the Davis Enterprise or on the No on Measure A website.

I conclude Randy is ignorant, and should pay for more formal education if he believes that is the way to become less so.

The real question you ought to ask is whether the cost is worth an extra $520 per year? Add Measure A to the already passed Measure W and Measure Q and home owners will be paying an additional $520 per year in taxes.

The answers won't be found in Measure after Measure on a ballot. There are a a couple factors that I feel DJUSD has yet to explore. On another article posted on this site, a commenter drew attention to Harper JH. The school district bought a rather large parcel of land only to use a portion of it. Instead of looking for cost efficient ways to use the excess land, there it sits, vacant only to be mowed but once a year.
