Discrimination hurts everyone

By
From page A6 | December 04, 2012 |

Happy holiday season, everyone. We’ve had a wonderful year for marriage equality, making tremendous advances and wonderful inroads toward becoming first-class citizens. Although many things are looking up for same-sex couples, we’ve still made no progress on changing the discriminatory practices and policies of the Boy Scouts of America. They are hurting all children by not allowing gay people to participate in the BSA. Discrimination hurts everyone.

Please don’t support this discrimination, and buy your Christmas tree elsewhere. The BSA was handed a petition with 300,000 signatures asking them to stop discriminating and it was completely ignored. The only thing they notice is when they lose money, and we can do this by not supporting the BSA’s Christmas tree lot.
