Don’t put off this upgrade

From page A8 | February 26, 2013 |

I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I am voting yes on Measure I. Why? Because the surface water project is a logical solution to Davis’ aging water wells, degrading groundwater supplies, more stringent drinking water regulations, more restrictive wastewater discharge regulations, and household costs of water softeners and wear and tear on appliances and fixtures.

This is a golden opportunity to invest in surface water now; we shouldn’t put this off as it will only get more expensive in the future. I urge all senior citizens to vote yes; we need another source of water now for good, clean water for all.
