Drop fluoride from water project

By From page A10 | August 04, 2013

While no one wants the cost increases for the new surface water project, I feel we do need an additional reliable source of water. However, if the initiative promoted by Pam Nieberg and Ernie Head goes to a vote, the fluoridation issue (which will add more costs), may cause some who voted for the initial project to vote it down this time around.

I hope the City Council drops the plan to add fluoride, as it will indeed kill the project in the next vote.

Lots of municipalities are scrambling for more water. Let’s not be unrealistically isolated from reality.

(When I was 18 in Detroit, I paid 19.99 cents for a gallon of gas — 5 gallons for $1. Prices go up.)
