Elect Peterson, Fernandes

By
From page A13 | November 04, 2012 |

We are delighted to join others in voting for Nancy Peterson and Alan Fernandes for the Davis school board. Both will bring a breadth of perspective and dedication to our schools during extremely trying times. They will steward our Measure E funds (YES on E, too!) with great care.

Nancy Peterson’s tireless dedication to Montgomery Elementary from its first days to its current challenges has provided lessons she will apply districtwide. Nancy’s critical role in the new DHS track demonstrated her ability to join an idea many thought was too big and bring it home for Davis. She worked creatively with others to find a financial pathway to success. Now, the track and its field are yet another point of pride for Davis High School.

Joe has served with Alan in meetings on complex topics, and has seen how quickly Alan cuts to the core issue, and then how well he listens to find the wisest course forward. Alan and Joe share a passion for trade education that offers engagement in school and career opportunities for Davis youth.

Please join us Tuesday to bring Nancy and Alan to an even higher level of public service for Davis.

Janet and Joe Krovoza
