Forum explores candidates’ values

Are you ready for the upcoming City Council election? No? Are you wishing you could sit down with the candidates and ask your own questions?

This is the last week to submit a suggested question for the candidates for next Monday. Come to the Community Values Forum with the City Council candidates on Monday at 6 p.m. This forum is an opportunity to learn more about the candidates individually and their underlying values that guide their decision-making.

Topics include community-held values, social justice, conflict management, social ethics, communication and leadership style. This event is hosted by Davis Community Church and Davis Media Access.

The location is the church sanctuary (main door on Fourth Street between C and D streets). Don’t be put off by the setting — this is an event for the whole community. Submit a question for the candidates or get more information at http://dccpres.org/community-values-forum.
