Fundraiser was a team effort
Thank you to Chipotle, The New Home Company and the Emerson/Da Vinci community for a successful fundraiser on Nov. 19. The Emerson Jr High PTA board would like to thank some amazing community partners that helped make our fundraiser a huge success. Thanks go to:
* Chipotle, a terrific community partner offering a very generous percentage of the evening sales. A special shout out to the E Street Chipotle team who did an excellent job at working the line that at times stretched to River City Bank. Thank you to the entire Davis Chipotle team!
* The New Home Company folks who provided a $1,500 gift incentive.
* The Davis Junior High Jazz Band, under the direction of Clyde Quick, who entertained folks waiting in line with some great music.
* The Emerson/Da Vinci campus community for their willingness to wait in that very long line.
* The energetic students from the Emerson/Da Vinci leadership class who made signs, bouquets and brought balloons to make the evening special.
The funds raised will be used for our technology impact project that will benefit students at Emerson and Da Vinci.
