Garamendi has my vote

By From page A18 | October 28, 2012

John Garamendi is in a close race for the U.S. Congress, as the new redistricting included rural areas that tend to be more conservative. He needs every vote he can get, so I encourage people to vote for Garamendi as he would be a wonderful representative for us. I know him personally, and he is a good person and a strong Democrat, with years of support for education, jobs based in America, Medicare, Social Security and the environment.

I recently got a call saying that Garamendi has plans to end Medicare. This could not be further from the truth, as I have heard him speak about plans not only to save Medicare, but to make it better and more accessible to all seniors, and his voting record supports that. If you get a call from Kim Vann supporters, I urge you to check the facts, as electing Garamendi is the best path to securing both Medicare and Social Security.

While we’re on the subject, let’s get rid of the big-money Super PACs and their false ads, that are turning our democracy into a plutocracy. We can do it! See you at the polls.
