Give a pet the ultimate gift

By From page A10 | December 07, 2012

Have you seen the Yolo County Animal Shelter recently? It’s looking really spiffy since Brooks Painting donated their time and talent to paint the major buildings and hallways. Thanks go to Brooks Painting for the work and to Sherwin Williams for donating the paint.

Now we are in a holiday mood, and the shelter’s many cats and dogs are eager to greet you. They are all putting their best paw forward in hopes you will find among them a new BFF for this most joyous season.

There are a few kittens waiting for adoption and several loving lap cats to warm you during this chilly weather.

View our animals at Petfinder.com, visit us on Facebook.com/YCAS.shelter or, best of all, come to the shelter at 2640 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. We want all our animals to be able to say “I’ll be home for Christmas”!
