Heart, honesty, intelligence, wisdom
Over the years, I’ve supported many fantastic local leaders, but none as strongly as my choice for Davis school board: Nancy Peterson.
She and I have worked together on many formal ventures for kids. She is, without a doubt, an incredible parent leader, but that’s not what this letter’s about.
What I share with you eclipses politics because, quite simply, Nancy is my dearest friend.
I know her heart, her honesty, her work ethic, her intelligence and wisdom, and her fearless ability to stand up for what’s right, even when it comes at personal cost. Nancy’s compassion for every child is pure — I’ve seen it when people are watching, and especially when they’re not.
Nancy is a graceful communicator, but she will never mislead you about her beliefs or bluff her way through an answer.
She has a lengthy record of experience and has earned our trust.
In full disclosure, I’m managing her campaign, but friendship is not why I accepted the task. In fact, she and I don’t always agree on district policies and decisions. Even so, I’m proud to be on her team because Nancy is exactly the “new voice” we need on the Davis school board.
