It’ll be a joyous Valentine’s Day

By From page A6 | February 11, 2014

Over the past 14 years, many same-sex couples in Yolo County have gone to the county Clerk-Recorder’s Office to request a marriage license and have been denied. This year, for the first time, they know their request will be honored.

Come celebrate this momentous occasion and thank Clerk-Recorder Freddie Oakley and her crew for their kindness and support. We hope to see you Friday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. in the downstairs atrium at the County Administration Building, 625 Court St. in Woodland. Cake will be served.

We wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day.
