Joe Krovoza’s our man

By
From page A6 | May 13, 2014 |

There is a clear choice in the Assembly District 4 race. It’s Joe Krovoza.

Joe is the only candidate in a crowded field to be endorsed by the Sierra Club. Joe is also endorsed by the Sacramento Bee, The Davis Enterprise and the California League of Conservation Voters. If you care about the environment, Joe is the candidate we need to send to Sacramento for progressive leadership.

As mayor of Davis, Joe boosted economic development and took the lead in directing staff to identify and cut millions in cost reductions, waste, while working for long-term fiscal sustainability for the city.

A lifelong Democrat, Joe has been a fierce advocate for education his entire adult life, including being a three-time gubernatorial appointee to the California Student Aid Commission, where he fought to make education affordable for all.

I have worked with Joe for two years on a number of issues, including when he assisted me after I discovered a massive number of leaks in PG&E gas distribution lines in West Davis. I can personally attest that Joe has an abundance of energy, knowledge and forward-thinking ideas. He also will bring the highest ethical standards to Sacramento.

Please join me in voting for Joe Krovoza for Assembly.
