Kimble left a swimming legacy

By From page A4 | July 22, 2014

It was with sadness that I read of the death of Kenneth Kimble. Anyone in the area who swims with the Davis Masters swim program owes a debt to Mr. Kimble and his wife, Janet.

They were very involved in the early years of the Davis Aquadarts (and the Davis Masters) and devoted uncounted hours to helping their children, and the children of Davis area families, swim in a competitive program. They spent many weekends driving their kids and many others (me included) to swim meets all over Northern California.

I will forever be grateful for the interest they took in my love of swimming.
