Lucky to have such caring vets
Recently, our family’s dog, Tessa, whom many of you knew, passed into the great beyond. It was one of the hardest things that has ever happened to me. But as hard as it was, we’re grateful for the kind and compassionate veterinarians and staff we have here in Davis who helped us through it.
Tessa was cared for her whole life by the great people at Acorn Veterinary Clinic. Joy Jackman was outstanding in our time of need, right there with solid medical information delivered compassionately, and professionally, as were all the staff.
At the end, it was late on a Saturday night, and the UC Davis Vet Med Clinic crew was there, too, with moral support, a steady hand, and reassuring words.
We’re lucky to have so many great animal people here in Davis. Our family is grateful to you at a time when it really made a difference.
