Many utility questions raised

Jim Skeen’s question is valid: If our article’s vision of the future is correct, “Does anyone want to own any energy services company?” Perhaps not.

One thing I hope will come out of the Davis municipal utility study the City Council is considering is this: What is the value of an antiquated distribution system when it is practical for PG&E customers to generate and store electricity more cheaply than buying it from a centralized electric utility?
